Addsecure has acquired Astrata Europe B.V., the European telematics division of Astrata. This strategic move allows Addsecure to expand its market share and solidify its position as a key provider of IoT solutions to the transport and logistics industry across Europe.
This acquisition not only expands Addsecure’s market presence but also taps into new markets like Italy and Hungary for its business unit, Smart Transport. According to the company, this aligns perfectly with its strategy of consolidating the market and becoming the leading provider of fleet management, transport management, and video telematics solutions in Europe.
Furthermore, the acquisition brings added expertise in telematics and boosts sales capabilities. Astrata Europe’s established customer base, which includes several prominent European customers, will further help to reinforce Addsecure’s foothold in the industry.
