Digital transformation provider Bahwan CyberTek (BCT) has announced a strategic partnership with Axis Communications, a leader in video surveillance, supplying innovative network solutions that improve security and business performance. This partnership will further strengthen BCT’s cyber resilience capabilities and secure large-scale networks for its customers across Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Retail, and Government sectors.

The collaboration will give customers access to a complete range of network video, audio, and access control solutions, and facilitate the deployment of flexible, scalable, and easy to integrate technology to keep up with the pace of rapid growth. Over the past few years, many organizations in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and parts of Africa have been increasingly embracing digital transformation to accelerate their go-to-market strategies and improve customer experience.

Accompanying this rapid change, is the demand for cutting-edge surveillance technology and better control of network devices, without compromising on privacy.

Speaking about the partnership, Jiten Sil, Vice President – Strategic Initiatives, BCT said, “The ecosystem today is more connected and smarter than ever. This partnership has been forged at the right time when safety and security have become a board-room priority for both private and public organizations. Axis’s expertise in border control, facial recognition tech, automatic vehicle identification, and security solutions for large manufacturing plants and factories, perfectly complement BCT’s focus on the public sector and our extensive service delivery capabilities in this geography.”

Equipped with security drones and AI-driven complex access controls, BCT’s expanded portfolio of services significantly augments its capability and competitiveness to offer end to end IT services in the region.

Mohammed Hotiet, Regional Sales Manager – Eastern Gulf, Axis Communications said, ‘At Axis, we value our partnerships, with one of our core values being to strengthen our relationship to grow our clients’ businesses. As Bahwan Cybertek is our strategic partner in the region, we look forward to working together very closely through the Axis Channel Partner Programme (CPP) to develop into new market sectors that cover digital transformation. We support Bahwan Cybertek to go deeper and wider in security and surveillance technologies being used in smart cities all over the world to improve public safety, urban mobility, and environmental monitoring. With this we aim to produce smart cities that connect people, data, and devices to create a better place to live, using the Axis portfolio to deliver scalable, innovative surveillance and IoT solutions to make cities.”

Through a shared vision of using emerging technologies to improve efficiencies and eliminate complexities, both organizations are confident that their combined solutions will help build swift operations and smarter cities.
