Dallmeier will present its latest solutions for perimeter security at the Perimeter Protection in Nuremberg, Germany, from 14 to 16 January 2025. Dallmeier’s new Panomera S4 Perimeter has been specifically developed for perimeter protection in security-sensitive areas. Thanks to the unique combination of a special optical geometry and two complementary AI instances, the new system offers maximum security performance.
The trade fair presents solutions for integrated security technology and perimeter protection – with a special focus on securing outdoor areas and buildings in sensitive areas. Visitors to the Dallmeier stand (Hall 2, Stand 2-506) can see for themselves the advantages of Dallmeier cameras “Made in Germany”. The exhibition presence will be complemented by a presentation on “Video revolution at the perimeter: Specially trained AI meets multifocal sensor technology” by Josua Braun, Chief Revenue Officer at Dallmeier. This will take place on 15 January from 10:20 to 10:40 in the specialist forum at Perimeter Protection and will provide exciting insights into the Panomera system, AI performance and a short product demo.
Maximum surveillance performance over a fence length of 200 metres
The Panomera S4 Perimeter combines advanced multifocal sensor technology with “Perimeter AI” and “AI Tamper Detection” specially trained for perimeter protection. The superior optics, consisting of four lenses and sensors with different focal lengths, provide optimum image quality with consistently high resolution over the entire distance, even in difficult lighting conditions. The solution offers coverage of up to 200 metres of fence length with a resolution density of 125 pixels per metre. The Dallmeier team is looking forward to exchanging ideas with visitors to Perimeter Protection and providing practical insights into the application areas of the Panomera Perimeter.
Better safe than sorry – combination of Perimeter AI and Tamper AI
Equipped with a neural network specially trained for perimeter protection, the Panomera S4 Perimeter reliably detects people with unusual postures and movement patterns. Even people wearing camouflage such as Camouflage Central Europe, British Smock or Ghillie are reliably detected. The advanced AI Tamper Detection application supports the detection of tampering attempts that are typically expected at a perimeter. In addition to classic methods such as twisting, defocussing, spraying and covering the camera or IR lights, blinding the camera with a laser pointer, flashlight or strobe light is also reliably detected. In addition, indirect tampering by deliberately fogging the detection area with pyrotechnics such as smoke grenades or smoke pots is detected and alerted. The combination of both analytics provides optimum detection of intrusion attempts with a very low error and false alarm rate.
Efficient infrastructure – cost-effective solution
In addition to improved security performance thanks to better overview and dual AI, the Panomera perimeter also offers an objective advantage in terms of total cost of ownership. The fact that significantly fewer cameras are required reduces infrastructure costs and the number of personnel required for live monitoring. The combination of specially trained Perimeter AI and Tamper AI reliably detects even highly professional behaviour and complex manipulation attempts. The system thus provides a powerful, cost-effective and easy-to-integrate solution for monitoring properties, company premises and “sterile zones” of all kinds.
