Johnson Controls has received the 2025 World’s Most Ethical Companies recognition by Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, marking the 18th time Johnson Controls has been named to this list and making it one of only five companies that have been included 18 times.

Through leadership, commitment, communication, training, monitoring, and reporting, Johnson Controls has operationalized ways to identify and safely navigate ethics and compliance risks and conduct business according to the company’s stringent set of values.
The World’s Most Ethical Companies assessment is grounded in Ethisphere’s proprietary Ethics Quotient, an extensive questionnaire that requires companies to provide over 240 different proof points on practices that support robust ethics and compliance; governance; a culture of ethics; environmental, and social impact; and initiatives that support a strong value chain. In 2025, 136 honorees were recognized spanning 19 countries and 44 industries.
