Professional Communication Corporation – Nedaa has decided to participate in this year’s Gitex Technology Week starting tomorrow to showcase the latest most prominent mission-critical solutions, applications and devices.

H.E Mansoor BuOsaiba, CEO at Nedaa

During the premier exhibition, Nedaa’s technology partners, leading industry players Esharah Etisalat Security Solutions, Airbus, and Nokia are exhibiting their newest smart innovations and intelligent tools, being developed with Nedaa, at the organisation’s dedicated pavilion located at the Sheikh Saeed Hall 3.

The same technologies, which are widely being utilized by first responders and health and safety personnel in the Emirates, are designed to ensure a fast response to emergencies and crises, as well as maintain peace and order in local communities. One of these technologies is its artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled drone system operating through the secure Nedaa 4G network. The system is designed to help analyze accidents, locate injured people and assist first responders.

This technology forms part of Nedaa’s commitment to keeping up with the latest digital innovations and advancements in the area of safety and security. Nedaa’s deployment of the system comes at a time when more and more authorities are looking at drone technology to strengthen their public safety and health measures.

In keeping with this theme, Airbus is displaying its world-class Tactilon Agnet 800, Tactilon Agnet 500 and Dabat Hybrid Roaming solutions throughout the five-day show.  Tactilon Agnet 800 allows smartphone users to communicate in TETRA groups at the touch of a button, while Tactilon Agnet 500 serves as secure and efficient group collaboration and communication platform. The Dabat Hybrid Roaming device, meantime, is a smartphone and a TETRA radio in one, operated through Nedaa’s 4G network.

For Esharah’s part, the innovative features of its computer-aided dispatch, SAGA (COMMAND & CONTROL), which is being developed by Nedaa and Dubai Police’s Transport Security Department, and records all incidents and dispatches rescue teams in a record time, are on full display. In addition, Esharah’s ACOM, a complete mission-critical communication solution, is being highlighted at Gitex along with Stashcat, a secure messenger application that helps create communication groups for the team and assists in sending messages, videos and pictures, among others, using real-time end-to-end encryption.

Another solution on display is Esharah’s Epic Blue, a smart indoor tracking platform that brings the power of location to places where GPS-based positioning is unavailable or unreliable. The Esharah’s team is holding a real-life demo of Epic Blue during Gitex. The company’s representatives are also on hand to discuss the features of its cybersecurity solution designed to protect critical infrastructures.

Nokia, for its part, is highlighting the modern features of its vessel and truck tracking solution, which offers real-time visibility and monitoring of containers, trucks and vessels. The solution is designed to reduce and help enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

H.E. Mansoor Bu Osaiba, Chief Executive Officer, Nedaa said “This year’s Gitex enables us at Nedaa to emphasize the significance of deploying critical communication devices, applications and solutions. Our pavilion focuses on the role of these products in furthering the goals and objectives of our public safety agencies. This comes at an opportune time when the world is in a most challenging situation in which the raging coronavirus disease pandemic has forced us to implement stronger community safety and health protection protocols. At the crux of these measures are relevant technologies able to support secure team collaboration and communication for faster response time to emergencies and crises. Moreover, our technologies are geared towards meeting both current and future mobility requirements.”
