Princeton Identity launches IOM Access600e
Princeton Identity has launched its new IOM Access600e iris and face biometric capture device that is designed for high volume enrollment and fast, convenient identification in high security, high throughput applications.
The identity management company notes that the device replaces the Access500e model, offering superior performance, lower pricing, an updated form factor and a fully contained lighting source. It can process subjects with a wide range of heights and face and iris data can be processed in under two seconds.
The Access600e integrates with passport scanners, fingerprint capture, badge readers and other sensors for a complete solution and streamlined enrollment that is suitable to use at immigration checkpoints, military bases, and secure facilities with a large number of employees or contractors. Optional tri-modal enrollment is possible through integration with an external fingerprint capture device. Its high accuracy and throughput also makes the device suited for arenas, cruise ships, theme parks and other commercial venues.
The IOM Access600e works with Princeton Identity’s Identity Management Platform and the IOM Access Control Product Suite and will be rolled out next month at ISC West in Las Vegas.
